Our 3 Main Pillars

Networking

Facilitating networking amongst fellow future CA’s through our renowned social events. These networking events are hosted largely hand-in-hand with our sponsors and include hot topic speaker events, sports days and parties (to name a few)

Charities

Charitable endeavours focuses on using the funds available to us, as well as funds raised throughout the year, to give back to worthy charitable causes in the Gauteng region. Our longest standing traditions include hosting fun days for children in need and making monthly contributions to a schooling fund and a children’s care centre in Thembisa township.

Mentorship

Enhancing the CA profession by actively contributing towards the development and growth of aspiring future CA’s. Through our mentorship programme we offer emotional as well as academic support as we believe this support is a fundamental component of a student’s success at university and there’s no-one better to provide this support than article clerks who were recently in those shoes.

Each year the committee consists of 1 to 2 second years and 1 to 2 third years from each member firm. This number is dependent on the size of the firm. These representatives are elected by their fellow peers to join the JACASS committee. Each year a new first year and second year will join as the old third years leave ensuring continuity of the committee throughout the years.
